As with the repealed instrument IMMI 16/043, the instrument operates to specify for the purposes of the criteria or requirements for the classes of visa in Schedule 1 to the Regulations set out below, the approved forms for making an application for the specified class of visa, the place at which an application for a specified class of visa must be made and the way in which an application for the specified class of visa must be made.  The classes of visa are: a)Confirmatory (Residence) (Class AK) visa; b)Resolution of Status (Class CD) visa; c)Border (Temporary) (Class TA) visa; d)Transit (Temporary) (Class TX) visa.
