3  Authority

This instrument is made under the following provisions of the Regulations:

(a)          paragraph 2.61A(4)(b);

(b)          paragraph 2.61A(4)(c);

(c)          subregulation 2.66(3); and

(d)          subregulation 2.66(4).

6  Application for approval as a family sponsor

(1)          For paragraph 2.61A(3)(b) of the Regulations, the specified form is Form 1501 (Internet).

(2)          For paragraph 2.61A(3)(c) of the Regulations, the specified fee is AUD420.

Note 1:     Paragraph 2.61A(3)(a) of the Regulations provides an application for approval as a family sponsor must be made using the internet.

Note 2:    Paragraphs 2.61A(3)(b) and (c) of the Regulations provide that an application for approval as a family sponsor must be made using the form, and accompanied by the fee, specified in an instrument under subregulation 2.61A(4).

7  Application for variation of terms of approval as a parent sponsor

(1)     For subregulation 2.66(3) of the Regulations, the specified form is approved Form 1501 (Internet).

(2)     For subregulation 2.66(4) of the Regulations, the specified fee is AUD420.
